For the past 18 years, Lahcen Haddad has worked as a researcher and
international consultant in many areas of international development, such as
institutional development, policy change, human development, and
democracy and governance. In the private sector, Dr. Haddad offers a
rich experience in business communication, human resource management,
entrepreneurship and project management. His technical skills include
strategic planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, team
building and conflict resolution.
Dr. Haddad has provided technical
assistance, in the form of training, consulting or evaluation to
international agencies or firms like USAID, UNFP, UNDP, JICA, the
School of International Training, Trevor Wilson International etc. as
well as to public and private sector bodies in Morocco, Europe and the
Middle East.
Dr. Haddad has taught at several universities in
the US, Europe, Morocco and the Middle East. He speaks five languages
and has so far written approximately twenty academic articles and
written or co-edited five books on different topics in the humanities,
social sciences, management, development and cultural studies. Dr.
Haddad writes editorial opinions for various newspapers in Arabic,
French and English and is a frequent guest to national as well as
international TV channels.
